Gary L. Lane

As President and CEO of Consumer Protection Legal Services in Santa Ana, California, Attorney Gary Lane provides legal representation with the highest level of service to clients. A licensed California Attorney for more than 35 years, Gary Lane spent many years concentrating on government and contractual issues. This led him to focus on real estate concerns, and he handled these types of transactions for large corporations such as Carnation Foods and Nestle USA. After Gary Lane spent several years in commercial real estate development and residential real estate proceedings, he founded Consumer Protection Legal Services, where he currently aids clients on the brink of or already in foreclosure. At Consumer Protection Legal Services, Gary Lane provides a variety of assistance. He attains temporary restraining orders against foreclosing lenders; handles Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases; and provides unlawful detainer representation in response to lenders’ eviction actions. He also prepares living trusts; files civil law suits against lenders when necessary; offers Lender Violation Analysis Reports; and performs REO/trustee sale reversals. In addition to real estate, Gary Lane’s practice handles cases in many other areas, including contracts, regulatory practice, environmental law, and state and local government. In preparation for his long and successful career in the practice of law, Gary Lane attended the City University of New York in 1962, where he studied law and medicine and received a Bachelor’s degree in 1966. Gary Lane earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1969 and an LLM in Law and Legislation from the George Washington University School of Law in 1970. A dedicated student of law, Gary Lane next entered the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and was awarded a Master’s degree in American Government & Policy Processes in 1972. At New York University School of Law, he earned another LLM in Law and Government in 1974. Gary Lane has been a member of The State Bar of California since 1972.
