CEO and CFO in UK, UAE, KSA and USA

From Army Special Operations to venture-backed founder, my career has been defined by turning high-stakes challenges into strategic opportunities. With dual expertise as a CEO and CFO, I specialize in scaling companies, leading IPOs, capital raises, M&A, and strategic partnerships.

I began my journey in the early days of the internet, contributing to industry pioneers like Spry, Netscape, and Amazon. These formative experiences shaped my ability to innovate and thrive in fast-moving, disruptive markets, launching global growth across SaaS, Clean Energy, AI, and Biotech.

Currently, as CFO In Residence and Head of Venture Finance & Economics at Mach49, I lead financial strategies and business model development for corporations across the US, UK, EU, UAE, and KSA. My focus is on scaling corporate ventures and crafting sustainable financial frameworks for growth.

Before joining Mach49, I founded Trelar Logistics, a vocational trucking marketplace acquired by HaulHub in 2020. I also held CFO roles through Helio Logix, helping raise over $70M in capital for IoT, Energy, Genomics, and SaaS startups.

Earlier, I led Hy9 Corporation as President and CEO, developing the first pure-hydrogen liquid fuel processor for PEM fuel cells and driving a successful exit. Before that, I helped launch Wolfram|Alpha with Dr. Stephen Wolfram, creating the world’s first computational knowledge engine and laying the groundwork for today's Generative AI.

I spearheaded Kindle’s periodical business at Amazon, scaling it from $0 to $1B ARR and growing the content portfolio by 700%.

I hold a PMD from Harvard Business School and a BS in Sociology from the College of Charleston. Outside work, I’m an avid dog rescuer, citrus grower, and occasional rattlesnake hunter.
