Gary Ng

Gary Ng is an investor and financial entrepreneur from Winnipeg, Canada.

Gary has held many roles during his career. At 16, he started working in the telecommunications industry. He went on to invest his earnings into vertically integrated contract manufacturing firms that were eventually sold as a whole.

Gary worked as a commodities trader leading up to the 2008 financial crisis. Embracing a motto that “Without chaos, an entrepreneur never gets the chance to shine”, when Canada’s S&P/TSX Composite Index peaked just before the crisis, Gary used the opportunity to execute an absolute return strategy that netted his clients millions of dollars.

For the past twelve years, Gary Ng has been concentrating on building a fleet of independent financial firms focused on commodities, equity, debt and trading.

Outside of managing his investments, Gary enjoys writing and studying history.
