I don't take anything for granted and I question everything (at least I try to). When you do that then life can never be the same again. It's like taking the red pill - there's no turning back!
I apply this approach to learning, education and life, starting with "why go to school?" and "why get a job?" and ending up with lazy but effective ways to learn languages, music, sport or any complex skill.
I'm focusing on Thai now. With my Rapid Method, you can learn to read within a week. It takes a bit longer to understand what you're reading - but if you can read then you will speak more clearly, acquire a vast vocabulary from your surroundings and be able to understand and communicate better. The secret is to read colloquial material, not "classic" or academic texts.
I've applied the same method to teaching older kids to read (English or Thai) with remarkably little effort. The Rapid Method also eliminates dyslexia.
But it goes beyond that. It's a minimalist, lazy approach to learning. Most of us lead busy social/working lives and don't have the time or inclination to study. The Rapid Method is fundamentally about re-organizing and limiting what you need to know to the bare essentials and then continuing to learn on-the-go.
Please contact me if you'd like to learn Thai, or for further information about the Rapid Method or "non-schooling" in general.
