President at Med Tech Ambulance Service in Pawtucket, Rhode Island
Gary Reis is the president and founder of Med Tech Ambulance Service, the largest in Rhode Island. Providing medical transportation to all hospitals and most of the nursing homes in the state, Med Tech provides its clients the latest medical equipment, professional EMS staff, and clean, safe vehicles. Having started the company with one used ambulance, Gary Reis operates the fleet from headquarters in Pawtucket.
With many charitable activities under his belt, Reis has supported causes both in the United States and abroad. These projects range from building an orphanage in Swaziland, Africa, to bringing together an all-new learning center at the Pawtucket YMCA that will provide computers and other technology to teens for their continued use.
Gary Reis received the 2009 Hero Award and the 2009 Outstanding Contribution Award, both from the Alliance for Better Long Term Care. Governor Elizabeth Roberts extended her personal congratulations to Reis as well.
