Born in Denver, Colorado I have been lucky and fortunate to have lived and worked in and around Colorado my entire life. To say I love Colorado is an understatement. I have four sons and one daughter and I love and treasure each of them. Eric, my oldest is a Firefighter with Denver, Jeffry (next oldest) lives and works in Ft. Worth, TX, Sean (the middle kid) lives in Windsor, CO and works for Kodak, Craig (youngest boy) lives only one mile from us and works for Century Link and then there is Krystal, girl of my heart. She still lives at home while she struggles to get her own business going and she is working hard to make that happen. I graduated from Englewood High School in 1966 and spent a very short stint in the U.S. Army. Then I spent another three years in the National Guard while I served an apprenticeship with Public Service Company of Colorado. In 1972 I went to work for the Denver Fire Department where I worked for the next 31 years. I retired from there in 2003. Then, for a short time I taught at Lincoln College of Technology. For four years I was the State Director for the Poker Players Alliance and I remain involved in that organization. I play a lot of poker and have had my share of success as a player, both in tournament and in cash games. I am a Master Scuba Diver and a Dive Master and scuba remains another passion of mine. I love to hunt, fish and camp: of course Colorado is a great place to do all three. When not at home in Denver my wife of 40 years, Beverly, and I like to travel in our Motor Home. We've hit about 40 of the 50 states so far but there's time yet. Beverly is the friend and partner every man wishes for but rarely finds.
