Gary Santana is an entrepreneur and producer of cultural works and images. His work as a photographer has focused on specializing on event photography, covering red carpet events, museum exhibitions, galas, weddings and recently venturing into product photography. A partial list of clients include:

As a cultural events producer his most recent production was a tribute to the late poet/author, Piri Thomas. Mr. Thomas is the author of the book, Down These Mean Streets, which has been in continuous publication for the past 45 years. The tribute was co-produced with The New Audience Project and sponsored by, El Museo del Barrio, La Unidad Latina, Phi Iota Alpha and HBO Latino. He brought to the stage such talents as:
- Junot Diaz (Pulitzer Prizer Award Winner for the book, The Brief Wondorous Life of Oscar Wao)
- Mayda del Valle (original cast member of the Tony Award winning Def Poetry Jam on Broadway)
- Martin Espada (finalist for the Pulitzer Prize)
- Willie Perdomo (2004 PEN/Beyond Margins Award)
- Jesus Papoleto Melendez (one of the original founders of the "Nuyorican Poets' Movement")
- Lemon Andersen (original cast member of the Tony Award winning Def Poetry Jam on Broadway)
Past cultural events have included art & photo exhibitions, AIDS awareness fundraiser, one man stage show, panel discussions and special documentary screenings.
