Gary Sheridan

Hi i'm a student from Longford born in 1999. I am interested in maths, especially statistics, I'm also fairly good at debating and persuading. I won two prizes at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition 2016 for my project with another student. My project was about Cyber-Security, a very topical issue currently. I have passed entrance tests for CTYI but could not attend the courses. I scored in the top 2% in exams throughout primary school, I acheived 1 of the top 5 results out of the 110+ students in the entrance exam for my secondary school. I acheived a near perfect score in the DATs (differential aptitude tests) getting six out of six A's.

I would be interested in doing work experience anywhere. I have contacted many companys face to face and over email, but I haven't managed to actually get any work experience completed. Which I need to do for my Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme.
