Gary Torgow

Gary Torgow is the Founder of the Detroit-based company Sterling Group and Executive Chairman of TCF Bank, which recently merged with Talmer Bank where he acted as Founder and Chairman. Torgow graduated with his Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University School of Law and obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yeshiva University in New York. He has volunteered on numerous civic and communal boards, such as the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation and the Michigan Civil Rights Commision. He is also the author of two books, Holy Warriorand Raising the Bar.
