Like most people who struggle withtheir weight, I found myself running the rat race for years. Lose five here, gain ten there. Feeling good one morning and then feeling ashamed that very same afternoon.

That’s when I stumbled upon thisidea. There is an awful lot of ‘fluff’in the weight-loss/healthy living market. There are countless books addressingweight loss and fitness. Plus, it seems like every week there is a new program or some new plan that is the next birthing that I felt the pressure to try out or at the very least look into.

So,what is this blog all about then?

Well. I am not here to sell you a new product or even endorse a specific plan.I am not a “real” fitness trainer or health guru. So, you won't hear a lot of pretentious hobnob information or technical jargon from me. If you want that, there are lots of other books out there with that kind of information and appeal. Just do a quick search on Amazon.

No, instead I am a firm believer in two things. First, we have made the journey to becoming healthy far more complicated than it needs to be. Secondly, we need to be reminded every once in a while of people who have accomplished the very same thing we are trying to do.
