It’s a busy Monday morning. I can feel breeze of crisp fresh air as I walk down towards my office. There are quite a few things on my mind. One thing that is playing on my mind is the ride, I have had in past 8 months since joining HP. I was asked to take on their toughest account. When I look back, it has been a blessing. I got the opportunity to work with CEO of HP (Autonomy - Protect) on a 1-on-1 basis and with top management of a very large financial institution. I traded incredible hours for an incredible experience.

After obtaining my degree in Electronics Engineering, my first stint was in sales and marketing for a telecom equipment manufacturer in India. It was great experience to work alongside executive management of a Telecom behemoth.

Along came the opportunity to work for an upcoming Israeli telecom company, Comverse, and to work for them in Germany. I started as a Support Engineer and went up the chain to become Area Operations Manager. It was 2006 and we moved to Boston. Given the success, in Germany - I was asked to run entire Client management team for North America. Right around the time, Comverse, was introducing host of new products and struggling with deliveries. I shifted gears and ended up managing entire delivery team, the job which I would continue until I would leave Comverse.

I left Comverse in Oct 2010 and got engrossed in my MBA at Babson College. For those who are not familiar with Babson College, it is recognized as world’s #1 college for Entrepreneurship. Now what would you expect after having been through Babson. I dabbled into start-ups. We built many sites, I use the term sites rather than businesses because we did not get to self-sustaining cash-flow. By the end of my 1.5 year journey, we had launched a Video Portal, an Elance like company for educational market place (LearnFunGo.com), site for free webinar listings (OddFan.com), a daily deal site as well as a Private Equity firm.

It was at this time I was coming to the end of my runway, financially. I took a position with HP and this is exactly where I started my story. So as I am walking down towards my office images of my career whiz past me. It has been a great ride.

On what’s next, all I can say is- don’t know but wherever this journey takes me – I will make certain to leave a mark.
