Hi there, my name is Gauri and I’m currently a second year student at Ryerson University, studying in the Creative Industries program. I am strongly passionate about design, fashion, art, photography and writing. I love learning, and I find that the best way of doing so is by becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable. I constantly strive to push myself beyond my boundaries of comfort, as I know this is how I will truly gain new skills and become a better individual.

Many call me a big dreamer, and it motivates me because the bigger your dreams, the harder you will work. My current dream is to attend law school at Harvard University and then to pursue a master's certification in Strategic Management and Design at Parsons School of Design, in New York City. I would like to use my law degree and my masters certification to perhaps become a creative director or strategic brander at a New York creative social media firm or a fashion house such as Prada. I love surrounding myself with creative, hardworking and uplifting individuals, that are always trying to solve challenges or create unseen works of art in interesting ways.

Currently, I have ventured with creating my own fashion, travel and lifestyle blogging site called The Downtown Appeal. This is a creative space where I hope to share my love of style, photography and writing with a large audience. I wish to inspire individuals to view the world through a creative lens and to constantly push towards their dreams.
