Gautam Bhatia

Gautam Bhatia is an avid cricketer, holding membership in the Orlando Cricket Club. This successful Division A team in the Central Florida Cricket Association (CFCA) won the 2009 league championship. Mr. Bhatia and the club practice and play home games at Eagle Nest Park in Orlando. The highly competitive CFCA has a quarter century of history and is recognized as the premier cricket league in the region. Gautam Bhatia’s interest in cricket extends to attending more than 150 lifetime matches in locations as diverse as New Zealand, England, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. He is a fan of Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar, and Sachin Tendulkar. Widely regarded as one of the premier batsmen in the history of the sport, Tendulkar holds records as the leading century maker in one-day international and Test Cricket matches. In 2011, the athlete known as the “Little Master” became the first player to score 15,000 runs in Test Cricket competition. Along with Virender Sehwag, he is a member of the Indian National Cricket Team, which has recently achieved success on the international stage. Viewing cricket as life, Gautam Bhatia can happily enjoy the sport for 12 hours straight on television, switching to an office computer during work hours and watching the game on mobile devices when traveling. Mr. Bhatia’s favorite leisure time hangout is the Cricketers Arms Pub in Orlando, where he frequently enjoys a glass of warm buffalo milk or high-end scotch while cheering on the Indian National Cricket Team. Despite his present location in Orlando, Gautam Bhatia maintains a strong connection with the Indian community as a Delhi Business School alumni association member.
