Gautham Cholayil

My name is Gautham Cholayil, I’m from Thrissur, Kerala. I am a self-taught, multi-talented musician, music producer, and composer with a passion for creating and innovating across multiple disciplines. Over the past five years, I have developed a diverse skill set that spans music, audio engineering, live performance, and multidisciplinary creative arts.

As a musician, I am proficient in multiple instruments, including piano, guitar, and bass. My advanced music theory knowledge and relative pitch skills allow me to bring a deep understanding of music to every project I undertake. I thrive on composing and producing music, from film scores to fully produced songs, always aiming to create emotionally impactful and memorable pieces.

In my role as an audio engineer, I am skilled in mixing, mastering, and recording, with certification in a digital audio workstation (Logic Pro). This technical expertise, combined with my creative instincts, enables me to deliver high-quality audio production that meets the highest standards.

I have also gained considerable experience as a live performer, playing gigs with various bands and bringing energy and passion to every performance. My multidisciplinary skills extend beyond music to include film editing, Photoshop, and animation, allowing me to contribute creatively to a wide range of projects.

In addition to my artistic and technical skills, I have a keen interest in philosophy and psychology, which informs my work and provides a deeper context for my creative endeavors. My ability to learn and master new skills quickly has earned me recognition for my broad expertise across the arts, music, technology, and humanities—all of which I have taught myself.
