Gavin Rea

I've taken guitar lessons wince I was eight years old, and loved the intstrument since the beginning. I was in Menlo-Atherton's award winning jazz band for three years and have a solid grounding in music theory. I specialize in jazz and blues and currently play at the university I'm attending, Mount Allison, in Sackville, NB. An accomplished performer, I have a large repretoire and can play at request. I grew up in Menlo Park, California next to Stanford University and Facebook headquarters. Since an early age I've loved making and designing things. Currently, I work as an assistant in the metal shop at University, but want to pursue a career in industrial design.

My major interests include 3D printing, coding, educational games and gamification, startups and entrepreneurship.
