Gavin Cooke

I'm a digital project manager working for Building Blocks - a Manchester-based agency with a technical focus.

In 2013 I have delivered projects for Macmillan Cancer Support, Goodyear, Investec, Siemens, Royal Caribbean and the British Dental Association.

I previously worked as a PM in the music industry, spending 5 years at In The City festival - a multi-venue street festival and industry conference, founded by Tony Wilson.

I managed two bands - Brown Brogues and Race Horses - who both have achieved great things such as playing at South By Southwest, record deals and BBC 6 Music sessions.

I also ran a club night called Corporation Pop, have contributed writing to The Fly and Manchester Versus Cancer event programme, and have worked as a proofreader on the Big Issue.

I'm a Manchester City season ticket holder and go to watch my hometown non-league team Stalybridge Celtic whenever I can.
