Gavin is an attorney and partner with Doi / Luke, Attorneys at Law, LLLC, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He practices primarily in the fields of divorce, premarital agreements, paternity, child custody, child support, restraining orders, and other family law matters. Born and reared in Honolulu, he graduated from William T. McKinley High School, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law.

In his spare time, volunteers time with the Hawai'i State Bar Association and Volunteer Legal Services Hawaii. Gavin has coached high school mock trial students at McKinley, Campbell, and Castle High Schools. Gavin is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the HSBA Family Law Section, and was presented with the 2002 Justice Award by the Hawaii State Bar Association, which honors one lawyer annually for their outstanding contribution to the ideals of justice. Gavin has been named in Best Lawyers in America, SuperLawyers, and Honolulu Magazine's Best Lawyers in Hawaii, and has received a Martindale-Hubble® rating of "Distinguished."

Gavin is supported by his wonderful family, including his wife, two daughters, parents, and other loved ones.
