Ronan Gawley

Hello! I am Ronan. One of the most important aspects of my life is singing. I still remember the first day that I discovered that I could sing. My friends and I were all sitting in 4th grade music class and were asked to sing a solo to audition for the Christmas show at my school. I sang when it was my turn, and apparently a beautiful voice came out. At the time I didn't even know that it was good, and my music teacher simply told me in the hallway that I got the solo. As soon as I got up on stage in the spotlight to sing the solo, I was hooked.

From there I went on to be a part of the school musical every year. I had the honor of playing parts from a revolutionary in Les Mis to Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. Doing those musicals were truly the happiest times of my life and where I made my closest friends.

I also started a jazz band while in high school. One time, we decided to perform for a local nursing home. and I had no idea how moving the experience would be. Seeing the residents faces light up as I sang songs from there youth was truly spectacular. That is the ultimate reason I sing, to bring joy to others.
