Gayle Conran
Gayle, a publicist and creative media strategist, is the founder of ConranPR, a leading New York boutique PR firm specializing in travel and tourism. She has a BA in English from Brown University and continues post-graduate studies in social and digital media studies at the Columbia School of Journalism, through the continuing education program. Prior to starting her own business over a dozen years ago, Gayle was a Managing Director at Hill and Knowlton, New York, the U.S. headquarters for the worldwide public relations firm owned by the WPP Group. Gayle began her professional life early. Immediately after graduating from a performing arts high school, she became a contracted member of The Milwaukee Ballet and then, for the remainder of her professional dance career, a member of The Boston Ballet, during which time she toured the U.S., Mexico and Europe with Rudolf Nureyev in his productions of Swan Lake, Giselle and Don Quixote. She has written numerous by-lined articles on dance for the Boston Globe and Playbill. Her current work life takes her to some of the most exotic places in the world. All of that aside, Gayle's favorite place on the planet is her home in New York where she lives with her husband, a journalist, and their daughter.
