“Coop” is a professional problem-solver with a whole lot of tricks up his sleeve, and no problem getting his hands dirty. He has been a security officer, counselor, bouncer, coach, and professional mixed martial artist. Coop started working in the security field while attending college to help pay the bills while he studied to be a counselor. After discovering that his counseling background served him well in the security field while allowing him to enjoy a much more challenging environment, he has continued to serve in a broad spectrum of security-related assignments since 1992. Currently, Coop is the Lead Security Officer for the Marion Oliver McCaw Hall at Seattle Center in Seattle, WA. Marion Oliver McCaw Hall is the region's premier performance venue. It is home to two world-class resident performing arts tenants, Pacific Northwest Ballet and Seattle Opera. CCP has also chosen him to serve as the Event Security Manager of The Grand Masquerade in 2010 and 2011. Since then he has been the Event Security Manager with all the By Night Studio events. Now, working with the Darkness Emergent events running security for these events. Coop has worked as the Security Manager of Element, one the largest nightclubs, in Seattle, Washington. Where he was in charge of ensuring security for patrons, celebrity guests, and international DJs. Coop was part of the security team for the Grand Opening of the Experience Music Project; he was often called to work on ongoing museum and special event security there, helping to plan and carry out security for everyone from Bill Clinton to George Clinton.
