Gareth Howells

I am a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Solution Architect currently working with NEC IT in Brisbane, Australia. I started my career in IT systems in the mid 1990's and have gone on to build a wide variety of solutions across the applications, support, infrastructure and operations domains for ASX 200, Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies. I possess extensive hands-on IT experience including building help-desks, datacentres, designing server virtualization solutions and building business application systems for managing donations, volunteers, contracts and customer relationships. I regularly facilitates requirements gathering and scoping workshops and conducts end-user Dynamics CRM training courses.

I am a skilled IT professional who enjoys challenges and strives to deliver real benefit to my employer. My strengths include consulting, developing proposals, building relationships, problem solving and creating satisfied customers. I have worked for a wide range of organizations over my 15+ year career in IT including, Telstra, Hewlett Packard, John Deere, GlaxoSmithKline and Lifeline.

In my current role I have excelled in providing solutions architecture consultancy to a wide range of enterprise, government and not-for-profit clients. My management style is participative with a focus on developing and empowering others to achieve business objectives.

That's what I do by day, in my spare time I'm a proud father of two beautiful kids, husband and a bit of a geek!
