My top strength from the StrengthsQuest assessment was positivity. This means that I excel at spreading cheer to others when they are down. I identify with this strength more than any of the others because my favorite thing to do is make other people happy, and I feel that this strength best exemplifies that. In any activity that I do in life (no matter if it's academic, personal, social, etc), I try to remain positive and make the best out of any situation.

The Time Management assignment was one of my favorite activities from the semester because it helped me create a more efficient daily schedule. For the assignment, I had to chart my actions for each hour of the day for one week. When I reviewed the chart after the week was over, I realized that I wasn't getting as much sleep as I needed (only about 4 hours a night) because I was sacrificing it to workout instead. However, I also realized that I spent a lot of time each week going out to parties and spending time on my phone. I have used some of that time to catch up on sleep while still being able to workout just as much. As a result of getting more sleep, I am much more productive in my daily activities now.

The Curriculum Plan activities were also a big help. For the assignment, I had to plan my schedule through the 2017 Spring semester. While it is likely to change, I was able to gain an idea of how many credits I needed to take per semester. It also made scheduling my classes for the upcoming semester very easy because I already had them selected for the assignment.
