In the summer of ’65 I joined the U.S.A.F. and started a career that lasted until 1977 and where I was able to finished my advanced education and management studies. During my service years I work and lived in Philippines, Thailand, Germany, the USA and Greenland. In 1972 I was sent to The Netherlands, where a few years before I had meet my soon to be wife Anneke, we were married in ’72 and stayed that way until 1994, when she passed away after fighting cancer for more then 5 years. Anneke and I were blessed with a daughter Barbara Anne in 1975. Barbara now lives and works in Haarlem, The Netherlands. Since my departure from active military service in ’77, I have worked for Fluor Corporation in Haarlem for 10 years and since ’87 for the ICT company called Centric, as Senior Executive Marketing. After a period of eight years after my dear Anneke passed away, God blessed me with Betty a fine lady of my age and also alone since the passing of her husband. Since October 2001 we have enjoyed each other’s company and happiness. God willing someday in the near future we plan to live together under the same roof and hopefully be married by then. Since the 27th of October 2006, my dearest Betty en I are married, great hey. Life is good and wonderful and we should all enjoy it to the best of our ability. On July 31st 2007 I retired from active work force after being part of the process of earning my keep for the last 45 years, however my present company has invited me to stay on as Executive Senior Consultant/Adviser and I intend to do that, keep me busy a few days in the month. Bless you all. Although, I retired in 2007 I am still working and enjoy it too, always full time, keep the mind and body active is important. Para la iglesia y el país.
