Golden Chariot Route

The Golden Chariot route runs on three main itineraries:

Pride of Karnataka (6 nights/7 days):
Begins in Bengaluru and covers Bandipur National Park, Mysore, Halebidu, Chikmagalur, Hampi, Badami, Pattadakal, and Goa. It ends back in Bengaluru.

Jewels of South (6 nights/7 days):
Starts from Bengaluru and takes travelers through Mysore, Mahabalipuram, Thanjavur, Chettinad, Cochin, and ends in Kumarakom or back to Bengaluru.

Glimpses of Karnataka (3 nights/4 days):
A shorter journey covering Bengaluru, Mysore, and Hampi.

These routes are thoughtfully designed to highlight South India’s temples, forts, palaces, wildlife, beaches, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Golden Chariot Fare

The Golden Chariot fare for the Golden Chariot Train varies depending on the itinerary and type of accommodation:

Deluxe Cabin (Single Occupancy):
Around INR 4,00,000 to INR 5,50,000 for 6-night journeys.

Deluxe Cabin (Double Occupancy):
Ranges between INR 6,00,000 to INR 8,00,000 per couple for longer routes.

Shorter Journeys (3 nights):
Approximately INR 2,50,000 to INR 3,50,000 per person for double occupancy.

The fare includes all meals, guided off-train excursions, entrance fees to monuments, and use of onboard facilities. Taxes and optional extras like spa services or alcoholic drinks are billed separately.
