At any given moment in time anyone can become an Expert in a room full of Mediocrity. I strive to fill my room with Experts instead so I am forced to rise above my own Mediocrity.

I began in Radio at age 16 because it was what my Dad did. I started small and quickly elevated to ownership in 2 stations and built a syndication company. I was Wolfman Jack's last Executive Producer before his death and a moderate success by 30.

At 34, I sold left Radio and reinvented myself for the Digital enviroment as part of a dot com success and learned web development. At 38 I reinvented myself in the Pay-For-Performance game and became a Behavioral Marketing Scientist to identify consumer triggers within online environs. At 41 I reinvented myself as the owner of a coffee table magazine for affluent real estate design and learned how to print in, and transact with, China.

By 44 I was broke.

@46 I hit the reset button on my career and reinvented myself within Social Media applying Consumer Behavior to create actionable marketing. I set out to become a Vice President at a major media company.

By 48 I was working for the 3rd largest media company, Tribune, in Chicago in Tribune Tower as a Director - the very same place where so many smart people have worked and built careers before me. I was resetting their entire digital operations, workflow and was empowered to create new digital revenue products. WOW that was fun!

Now I'm happy to say I have achieved my reset objectives by becoming Vice President of Revenue for Newsy as

Where am I going? I learned long ago that when I built plans, they became God's humor as she had other ideas for me. Instead I'm currently working on becoming President of a meaningful organization the contributes to a larger one my retirement package out. Beyond that

- come what may.
