My name is Geena White. I am a Fashion Stylist living in Sacramento, California. I am an advocate for fashion, style, art, and inclusion. I understand that the fashion industry is hard on the environment, so I do have sustainable practices I implement in my work to reduce wastes and costs.

My Background:

I was born and raised in Sacramento, California to my parents, my mom, who is hmong, and my dad, who is biracial, black and white.

I grew up in a not so loving home. Majority of my life I was in tears, scared, and anxious. One way I was able to escape the chaos of my life was by creating. Painting, drawing, sewing, making music, writing poetry and so much more.

After I moved away from my parents and settled in Los Angeles for a brief moment consisting of 10 months. I was able to harness my creativity in a way that showcased more than just art, but also expression in clothes with my brand Mage Original which consisted of original designs by me and hopefully other artists in the future.

My time in LA was cut short due to my mental health. I ended up hospitalized and my mom told me to come back home to Sacramento. Which made me put a pause on my brand. Shortly after I quit my job, I packed up my things with the help of my sister Meena and my lovely friend Veja who I’ve known since middle school. They made my transition back to sac as smooth as they could, but it wasn’t all peaches and cream. A lot happened while living back with my mom and it wasn’t good for me mentally or physically.

Now I’ve been working not only on my brand but I also started styling, since so many people in my life said I should. so I did.
