These articles are part of a series of columns I did for Tehelka's Financial world .
I have been writing advertising and brand columns in Asian Age, Financial Express, Bombay Times and at last count had written over five hundred columns.
it may have merited a book but being a bad archivist I never did manage to save all my pieces or put them up in chronological order.
So much has changed since I talked of the first mobile phone in India in an early Asian Age column fifteen years ago to the time i wrote on India;s number portability game in my first Financial world column last year .
Advertising gets dated, brands change, consumer generations change but the basic principles still somehow stay in place .

Oh yes, about me - I have spent over twenty years in India's advertising industry and worked on some wonderful brands.
When not blogging these days I am working on the launch of an exciting new FMCG brand .
