Gelena Rodriguez

I hate to strengthen a Latino stereotype, but my name is Gelena Marcela Rodriguez Hernandez. Born and raised clap, clap, clap, clap deep in the heart of Texas! Although some might argue the heart of Texas would geographically be somewhere near Waxahachie, I would argue it's actually my hometown Dallas.

I love all things spicy. When I say spicy I don't Pace Picante spicy, I mean the kind that will make your taste buds numb. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you probably need to find the nearest whole-in-the-wall taco joint.

I cook and bake for fun... and because food is necessary for survival. Either way, watching too much Food Network has made me a self-proclaimed culinary genius. I literally plate dinner as if Bobby Flay himself might be sitting at the dinner table.

Lastly, I am a sporty gal. Football, Baseball, Boxing… you name it! In fact, I watch more sports than my husband.
