Performer, a theatre director, and an award winning photographer, awarded with The First Prize Photo Impact INN Impact Prizes for Nonprofit News Photos and SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA JOURNALISM AWARDS 2017.
I am also a mom of two wonderful kids.
Originally from Spain, I am based in LA where I co-founded Galiana&Nikolchev’s The Useless Room, creating performances and training practices focusing in physicality as a main source of creation and expression.
My last work, INSULA a solo performance, was premier at Odyssey Theater in LA in 2022.
Other works include The Last One (a tribute to an extinct bird) has been in program at Summerhall (Edinburg Fringe Festival) in 2018, in India as part of The 8th Theatre Olympics and in different venues in LA, including its premiere at Dance at the Odyssey in 2016.
A solo performance The Woman Decomposed (Festival Body Constitution in Poland), performing and co-creating EXILE directed by Vivien Wood (commissioned by Dance City in England) and All The Things You Said You Never Said Before You Though You Could Ever Say, performing in London, Switzerland, Slovakia and the Festival Bharat Rang Mahotsav in New Delhi 2014.
In 2018, I also had the honor of work with Efi Birba and Res Ratio Network Project in Quixote, Chapter 23rd Second Book in Athens, Greece.
