A little backstory about her,
Gemi was a customer-centric data-driven marketer. She has worked with Fortune 500 brands and has been responsible for the development and implementation of both domestic and international offline and online campaigns. After four years at Ogilvy Asia Pacific Media, Gemi then headed to the U.S. and worked with the USA Today. She threw herself into sales research and statistics using Nielson, Forrester Research, Lexis-Nexis, and Jupiter to shape key media decisions. Still, in awe of the implications of the proper use of such data, she took a role at AOL in its internet budding stage while simultaneously studying for her MBA.
After AOL, Gemi moved on to the online division of AmericanGreetings.com and was a key player in developing the interactive online greeting division growing subscribers. With combined experience in offline & online media, she next moved to Singapore to work with Click2Net.com to open the South East Asia office specializing in affiliate marketing. in 2007 as Director of Online Marketing at Atomicleads.com and VP of Operations at TheOfferMachine (TOM) Gemi manages all aspects of marketing research, site development, project lead, and product development of SaaS platform created for Marketers. It is at Atomicleads.com where Gemi has mastered direct response internet marketing, lead generation, and data-monetization that is both profitable and high quality.
Her work at Rise Against Hunger and several other non-profits has sharpened her online fundraising by leveraging marketing automation technologies.
Throughout her career, putting the customers first she has successfully created customer journeys and customer experiences that have increased engagement and revenue.
She has a deep passion for entrepreneurship and women's professional development she is a co-founder of aMuslima.com - a global woman's website promoting a dialogue between Muslim Women, regardless of their Muslim Origin.
And for the past six years, she's been the owner, founder of Noorbiz, a coaching and mentoring organization that builds people upward and into the dreams of their lives.
