Hello Everyone!
I am an early childhood/elementary education major at Frostburg State University. I am really looking forward to graduating in the Spring! I cannot wait to have my own classroom. I hope to teach possibly first or second grade. Eventually, I would like to move to the Eastern Shore and teach over there.
I want to be a teacher because I love working with kids! I am excited to be a mentor and a support system for the students within my classroom. I want to ensure that all of my students have a safe and positive environment to grow as learners!
Some of my teaching experiences include.....
Brooke Grove Elementary (Kindergarten), West Side Elementary (Fifth Grade) and Cumberland Street Head Start. Currently I am working with first grade at Northeast Elementary. I have also worked as a nanny and within a child care center.
In my free time I like to relax and spend time with friends and family. I love to laugh and have a good time!
I am a big supporter of Go Red For Women and The Amputee Coalition. Both of these organizations are wonderful advocacy groups and are extremely close to my heart.
So excited to have a fun semester with everyone and learn new things to help us in our teaching adventures!
