Brantford, Ontario

One of the last babies born at Beckliff Hospital in Hagersville Ontario March 3, 1959. The number 1 song that week was Frankie Avalon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSyMxJDaK90

Brought home to Wee Croft Farm on #6 Highway and the Second Line Oneida to be with my 3 older sisters Patti, Dale and Dianne. A couple of years later joined by Barry and then Scott. Farm life was fun, interesting and alot of work. My dad (Tom) had a slaughterhouse and we killed chickens for the Kosher Meat Market in Hamilton, to sell on the Hamilton Market and for people who raised them for themselves. We always had lots of people around, employees, customers and lots of aunts uncles and cousins.

I have had a large quantity and variety of jobs but the last 15 years I have been deeply involved in the trucking industry and despite its many challenges have loved almost every minute of it. Working in trucking has allowed me to live in Nova Scotia for 5 years with my beautiful wife Helen and wonderful kids, Alisha and Eli. After 15 years with Laidlaw, Brookville and back at Laidlaw as part of the Contrans Corporation I have recently accepted the challenge of building a Tandem Flatbed Business for RIMS Transport from scratch. We are based in Hamilton Ontario and I look foward to the opportunity.
