I'm an experienced educational technology consultant, trainer, administrator, and teacher. I relentlessly pursue practical, useful technology resources to enhance student learning anytime, anywhere, so students can to do things they never imagined possible.

As the founder of Agile Educational Technology, my goal is to work with educators to develop a learning environment with awesome pedagogy supported by effective technology. That environment empowers and enables students to learn more deeply.

Previously, I was an Educational Technologist, responsible for teacher training to integrate 1:1 iPads into the curriculum. I also served as Director of Professional Development.

I was a PK-8 administrator responsible for educational technology and 21st century learning. I successfully led one of the first 1:1 Chromebook implementations in California.

I was a middle school Social Studies and English teacher for 13 years.

I co-author the Communicate..Create..Edtech blog, which explores opportunities to support student learning with useful ed tech tools.

I have trained hundreds of teachers on a wide variety of classroom tech integration topics. I provide professional development training through the Krause Center for Innovation, the EdTech Team and other organizations.

In 2014, I was a recipient of EdTechDigest's Leadership Award.

I recently completed my Master of Educational Technology degree with Boise State University.

I also mentor edtech startups with the Intel Education Accelerator and other organizations.

In my spare time, I race cars. I also like to garden, improve my photography skills, and hang out with my dog Maggie.
