Genny Marcoux
Bookkeeper and Infrastructure & Security Manager in Canada
I run infrastructure and security operations for large-scale technical training, overseeing 8,000+ lab environments delivered weekly across a globally distributed, hybrid setup, leading a cross-regional team, and owning a $2M+ annual budget end-to-end. My work sits where systems, people, and money meet: capacity planning, full-lifecycle procurement across 25+ international vendors, and reporting that holds up at the director and executive level.
That budget and procurement ownership is also where my interest in the financial side grew. I'm a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, L2 Xero Certified Professional, and am currently studying toward an Accounting Technician/Bookkeeping certificate at Okanagan College, bringing that lens to managing costs, vendors, and reporting.
Alongside this role, I'm a fractional bookkeeper, executive assistant, and property manager, managing financial records, vendor relationships, priorities, and day-to-day execution. I'm bilingual in French and English, which has helped me work smoothly across distributed teams and vendors.
The throughline across all of it is precise systems, consistent follow-through, and numbers people can trust.
