Genevieve Mora

Genevieve Mora was born in Auckland, New Zealand and at the age of six weeks moved to the United States where she spent the first two years of her life. She is of Scottish and Maori (Ngai Tahu) descent.

Name a sport and Genevieve has probably played it. Everything including hockey, netball, tennis, squash, board diving, swimming and underwater hockey. Netball was the sport atwhich she succeeded representing Auckland City at the age of 12 and each year making the top team for her school.

Genevieve has been lucky to have travelled extensively with her family.

From age 11-14 she was part of the National Youth Theatre Company taking part in High School Musical 1, 2 and 3, Grease and Annie. At 13 Genevieve was scouted and signed to amodelling agency where she walked in her first NZ Fashion Week booking seven shows atthe age of 14 and continued to walk for them for the next four years.

Genevieve finished high school in 2012 and while saving for her move to LA she worked as a teacher’s assistant at a special needs school and loved it! Genevieve is now studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute's 2 yearconservatory programme working on her craft daily.
