My writing is like a turtle. It comes to me slow and sometimes hides for awhile until it is ready to come out. At first it needs a little help. It is wobbly and clumsy. It stumbles and takes time. It is rough like the shell of a turtle. It looks nice on the page but up close it doesn't feel so great. It needs to be cleaned up and polished before sending it along its way. But although it is rough like a turtles shell, it is also strong like one after being taught and watched over and revised. Once it gets the hang of walking again it can slowly move through and become strong. There are a few steps that need to be taken before it can get it where it needs to go. My writing is like a turtle. It needs time and care before it can become strong enough to do well.
