Genie Tempest

Hi I’m Genie! I’m a musician, composer, performer and producer currently studying in Guildford as a third year Creative Music Technology student. As an experienced vocalist and pianist, I posses a wide range of skills within live music performance and electronic music production. I love to compose and perform within the avant-garde/experimental style including genres such as Bass, New Age, Ambient/Textural and experimental pop. I am also skilled in sound design and composition for visual media and narrative; the prospect of collaborating with talented visual artists excites me!

In relation to this module/brief, I am inclined to exploring innovative and unorthodox approaches to Audiovisual. Aesthetics/genres such as Surrealism, Fantasy, Horror/German Expressionism and Hauntology/Nostalgia are of great interest.

I am looking forward to working with and learning from other artists!
