After humming and hawing about what to do with my life, a good friend gave me some great advice- "you should get into hair!" So I did. In March 2005, I began my training at DelMar College. Upon completion, I started my apprenticeship within the Aveda network. Six months later, I was given the opportunity to enroll in the advanced cutting program at the Aveda Academy. After receiving my journeyman certificate, I continued to expand my skill base, attending various Aveda workshops in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. In 2010, I was sent to the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica; and was sent a second time in 2013. My favorite thing about hair, is that it is a direct reflection of your personality and your style. I love creating natural, flowing looks for both men and women through the use of cutting and color. I believe in customizing styles to better suit each individual. I also believe it is important to provide my guests with the best understanding of how to achieve what they are looking for. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, getting out of the city, cooking and relaxing.
