Geno Knight
Tampa, FL
Geno's career began while in high school on his hometown Top 40 radio station "Thunder 107" in Portland, Maine. When he left to go to college in Boston, he joined the airstaff at 104.5 WXLO. Over his 10 year run with the station, Geno went from weekend overnight host to afternoon drive before leaving in 2002 to host his first morning show at KHOP in the California Central Valley.
In 2008, a chance to work with iconic Boston rock station WBCN brought Geno back to the east coast. He put away the headphones and took on the role of Director of Digital Media, overseeing all of CBS Radio's web sites, social media and texting initiatives. When WBCN signed off, Geno took the opportunity to transfer to settle among the beaches and palm trees at CBS Tampa. He has since plugged the headphones back in and can be heard on two of Tampa Bay's legendary radio stations, 99.5 WQYK and Q105.
