Brittany Leigh

Brittany Leigh attended Full Sail University where she received her bachelors of science degree in Entertainment Business and in June 2014 will have her masters of arts in Public Relations. During her bachelors program, Brittany received Valedictorian, Advance Achiever, and five Course Director Awards. She is currently working with the Brignoni Foundation for Pregnant Teens Inc. to complete her masters’ thesis.

Brittany’s interests in marketing and communications led her to joining the public relations field. Public relations is an old profession, but because of technology advancements it has created a whole new standard for the industry. Communication has become even more important in today’s society that if a business is not using a social media site they are irrelevant. Brittany wants to take her knowledge she has gained throughout her masters program and share it with businesses, so they are successful with this new form of communication.

Each generation has different names that correspond with its personality, and pop culture is a prefect representation of the Millennial generation. Brittany took this idea and created a new name for her generation, Generation Pop, also known as GenPop.

Throughout Brittany’s schooling, she has developed an array of skills. Brittany is comfortable working with Microsoft Office and Photoshop, and has great written and verbal communication skills. Her professional skills include Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media, and Media Relations. Brittany has written press releases, newsletters, and social media and blog content. She can conduct professional interviews and develop media kits. She uses Google Analytics to track her websites traffic along with Facebook and Klout to track social media metrics.

Brittany is a very hard worker, observant, and puts 110% into every project. She enjoys learning new things, and is a problem solver. Brittany is a positive person, uplifting, and outgoing. She is capable of working individually and as a team member. Brittany enjoys taking on new adventures and is anxious to start her career.
