George Thorpe

I have been in the music business for 50 years and have worked with both well known and unknown artists all around the world.

Starting from the age of 18 playing around the west country and in the town of Bath, uk. I gained a musical apprenticeship through playing with a variety of musicians.

From my early days I soon learnt how to compose my own original pieces of music, with varying degrees of success. In later years I moved to America and got the opportunity to work with many professional artists. I rubbed shoulders with everybody from Kenny Rogers, The Rolling Sones, Santana, Neil Young, Joe Satriani. The list goes on and just as many stories are attached to that time of my life.

I now live in the High Peak town of Buxton, U.K and have established myself as a part of the local music scene. I can be found performing with originals band The Illegal Regals. I also enjoy playing in a covers band called The Innersence, which has been going since 2005. I also run a local rock night, Royal Rock Night aswell as attend other music session in the area.
