I was inspired from my experiences with 3D modeling and fractals to make a simple toy that allowed the creation of many types of things from a small set of modular parts. I wanted it to embody minimalist design, practical construction, and fit a variety of purposes. EVA foam provided the right lightness, flexibility, and friction to create interlocking designs that stay together without glue.
