Geoff Armstrong supports PwC's clients with their international tax strategies. He is the firm's transfer pricing liaison with the Industrial Products Sector. He combines his background in economics, international affairs and law with his passion for client service to his role as leader of PwC's Transfer Pricing Group in Philadelphia. Geoff leads a diverse team of professionals, including economists, attorneys and accountants, who share his commitment to clients.
Geoff and his team assist clients with all aspects of transfer pricing - tax planning, tax compliance, tax controversy and dispute resolution, including audit defense and Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs). His clients range from large global companies to mid-sized domestic companies, and span most industries from chemicals and pharmaceuticals to consumer products, technology and retail.
Prior to joining PwC, Geoff worked at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, Germany, where he gained valuable international experience. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Northwestern University, a Masters in International Affairs with a concentration in International Economics from George Washington University (GWU), and a law degree from American University. Geoff is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the District of Columbia Bar and the American Bar Association. He is an Eagle Scout and sits on the board of directors for the Boy Scouts Cradle of Liberty Council.
Outside the office, Geoff relishes spending time with his wife and their sons. He likes to unwind outdoors - coaching Little League, working in the garden and building tree houses.
