Originally a Yorkshireman, I now live in Scotland with my wonderful family, dog and 2 cats. I am a software developer, mainly Microsoft stuff but have dabbled in other platforms in the past, anyone remember the Newton and its 'soup'? I am presently working on an exciting project that brings together a number of Microsoft technologies and also a specific design pattern that I wanted to work with, so the universe has answered my requests here, so I am grateful for that.

I really enjoy finding the solution, not a solution, the solution. I like learning new things too. Currently WPF, Entity Framework, XAML and the Developer Express WPF toolset are taking up my time. I like to review computer books which I do for a number of publishers and authors.
