I'm Geoff Long, Managing Director at Long & Co accountant Stevenage (Dentax) Ltd.

Long & Co is a specialist dental accountancy firm dedicated to dentistry.

We work with NHS and private practice dentists, including consultants, principals, associates and hygienists, providing services including start-up advice and accounts preparation, payroll management, tax bill reduction, professional support in buying a dental practice, problem solving, a Young Dentists Scheme, setting up a Dental Squat and winning NHS dental tenders.

I run the business, with a team of 15 experienced accountants, and have been providing a full range of accountancy services for dentists for the past 25 years.

I founded Long & Co in 1991, and began my career as an accountant at Ernst & Young, working in the small business department of the firm, looking after TV presenters and celebrities, professional practices and city institutions.

I have a passion for dental accounting and a proactive approach to dental taxation and business problems.

I regularly write for the dental press, recognising that the financial world and world of dentistry never stands still, and so I write, keeping clients up-to-date with the very latest changes to UK tax legislation, together with advice, information and discussion about the dental sector and the issues faced by owners and practitioners.
