Geoff Pope is a dedicated father, mentor, entrepreneur and risk management professional. Geoff has rightfully adopted many titles over the course of his life. As a Vice President at Aon RiskSolutions, a global professional service firm, he specializes in providing insurance, risk management, and human capital solutions for middle-market, large private, and publicly-traded companies in various industries.

Prior to his current career in risk management, Geoff Pope played for four years in the National Football League before suffering a career-ending injury. He immediately returned to Eastern Michigan University to complete his last semester and graduated with a B.B.A. in Marketing. Five years later, he decided to return to school again where he graduated with an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

An Epilepsy Advocate, Geoff Pope has dedicated himself to giving back to his community in a variety of capacities. In 2008, he began working with the National Epilepsy Foundation. Five short years later, under recommendation of his mentor, former Congressman Tony Coelho, Geoff was appointed to the Foundation’s Board of Directors as its youngest member. Shortly after being appointed, Pope, alongside the president and CEO Phil Gattone, launched the Athletes vs. Epilepsy Initiative, a national initiative focused on supporting and raising awareness for athletes who have epilepsy. Today, Geoff Pope currently sits on the Executive Committee and is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and the Athletes Vs. Epilepsy Initiative.
