Geoff Read
My purpose and passion in ministry is to enable people and groups to achieve their full potential in Christ and to live that out in daily life.
Practical theology, theological reflection and professional development of clergy are key areas of interest for me in study and ministry. I am author of the Grove booklet Ministry Burnout (Pastoral 120) and recently completed a MA in Consultancy for Ministry & Mission at York St. John University, UK.
I worked for 25 years in parish-based ministry in UK and continental Europe. Now, as a Continuing Ministerial Development Advisor in the Diocese of Chelmsford (UK), I support and encourage clergy in their vocational and skills-based development.
Married with two daughters, in my time off I enjoy cycling, modern novels and a glass of decent red wine.
