A prominent figure in the California hotel and automotive industries, Geoffrey Palermo spent more than two decades as a real estate developer and hotelier, including running a large, Financial District landmark hotel in San Francisco. Over his career he is best known for navigating a difficult regulatory and economic environment while consistently improving net sales and revenue and providing large returns for his partners.
In 2016, Geoffrey Palermo started to spend the majority of his time in the automotive industry, focusing on growing GMP Cars, a company he founded in Novato, California in 2006. After gaining recognition as one of the Bay Area's most successful restoration shops, the company has expanded over the past two years to create an exotics-focused repair and upgrade campus in Novato, as well as acquiring eight collision-repair centers throughout the Bay Area. Currently employing approximately 150 workers, GMP Cars also offers electronics services as well as mechanical repairs.
An active member of the exotic-auto community, Geoffrey Palermo serves as a board member of the Ferrari Owners Group and the Ferrari Owners Charitable Foundation. He also maintains membership in the Chambers of Commerce in Novato, Fremont, and other area cities.
