I have made it my business to understand the dynamics of the globally expanding social network by harnessing a passion for quality assurance and online strategy. As Manager of Online Services and Strategy for C&B;, I am responsible for establishing and monitoring social networks for the company while building an integrated web of social connections that C&B; clients can benefit from. This means penetrating the media and potential consumers through a new generation of PR,which focuses on drawing upon users’ power for controlling the news they receive and share. Preparing for my current role with C&B;, I was a Quality Assurance Analyst with Aspire Services, where I assisted international customers with queries, testing applications and ensuring quality in all of their requirements. When asked why social media and online strategy, the answer is a constant desire to think ‘outside the box’ and come up with new strategies and ideas to help improve the company’s image and professionalism. “Engaging with other people online and staying on top of the latest technology and social media tools is the thing what really moves me.” ‘Social Media is exploding.’ A phrase most of us are aware of, and many of us use, but few fully comprehend the implications.
