George Edw. Seymour

Born the oldest of a brother and sisters in Newark, NJ. Later I attended Bernards High School in Bernardsville, NJ and after graduation, joined the Navy serving as a Sonarman in helicopters (see 2-sir below) where I decided to attend college.

I am blessed with three wonderful children and nine grand children all living close by.

My professional life has centered on research and teaching, and I retired after 32 years of Civil Service employment in 2007. These days I volunteer at the House of Ireland in Balboa Park, the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, where I live, and I also serve as the President of the San Diego Chapter of Sigma Xi.
